Fresh out of the studio with Eminem and Dr. Dre, Mike WiLL Made-It drops a remix to “Aries (YuGo)” off last year’s Ransom 2. While the original featured Pharrell Williams, “Part 2” adds Rae Sremmurd, Quavo, and Big Sean.
Sean Don approaches the bag-getting anthem with a nod to JAY-Z’s classic “Can I Get A…” verse. “I’m an eight-figure ni**a by the name of Big / That all the legends tend to big up ’cause where they left off is where I pick up.”
Uncle Jxm and Swae Lee drop their flavor on the track. “I’m going hard for this,” raps Jxmmi. “I put my heart in this / I’m addicted and it’s hard to quit / Started out in them apartments / Now, I hang with the stars and shit.”
Meanwhile, Quavo throws in a Migos and adidas nod. “I am a fashion statement,” he brags. “Culture, my Human Races.”
The original version of “Aries (YuGo)” also features Station Wagon P, which is Pharrell’s alter ego. This time around, Skateboard P simply handles the chorus. “It ain’t your chain or your vehicles,” he sings. “When you that ni**a with the bag.”
