SZA Performs ‘Supermodel’ on ‘Tonight Show’

Just days after making her “SNL” debut, SZA returned to late night as musical guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday (Dec. 12). The five-time Grammy nominee hit the stage at Studio 6B to perform “Supermodel.”

With her mother and father looking on from the audience, TDE’s First Lady delivered the opening track off her critically-acclaimed debut Ctrl, which made Rap-Up’s Best Albums of 2017. Rocking money-printed overalls and Balenciaga Triple S sneakers, she put a fresh spin on the track, with some help from a string section.

This was SZA’s third appearance on “The Tonight Show” this year alone. She performed “Love Galore” with Travis Scott in July and returned last month for “What Lovers Do” with Maroon 5. “Thank you @fallontonight for the honor of playing a third time this year,” she wrote.

SZA is finishing up her “Ctrl” tour, which comes to a close Sunday in St. Louis.
