The Weeknd to Release New Album ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ Tonight

The Weeknd has a big surprise in store for fans. The Canadian crooner is expected to release his new album My Dear Melancholy, tonight.
Earlier this week, he posted a text message about possibly dropping the album on Friday. Today, he revealed the artwork and release date on Instagram.
The ominous cover features a portrait of Abel Tesfaye’s face. His traits mostly hide in the shadows, with orange hues covering the image’s highlights. That matches the orange font, which reads My Dear Melancholy,. His caption confirms: “tonight.”
The word is out. Fans have already captured billboards prematurely promoting the album’s release. This will be his first full-length drop since 2016’s Grammy-winning Starboy.
