Video: Drake – ‘God’s Plan’

After topping the charts with “God’s Plan,” Drake gives back in the feel-good video for “God’s Plan.”

Helmed by Director X, the clip finds the 6 God riding through Miami on a charitable spree. He stops at a supermarket and pays for groceries, presents a high school student with a $50,000 check for a scholarship to the University of Miami, and treats a housekeeper to a shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue alongside Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown.

According to the opening credits, the budget for the video was $996,631.90: “We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label…”

The song, which was released as part of Drake’s Scary Hours project, has remained No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and shattered all sorts of records in the process.
